Cushman & Wakefield took the top spot on our list following its 2020 acquisition of Pinnacle Property Management Services, which boosted its multifamily portfolio to more than 170,000 units almost overnight.

In second place, Morgan Properties increased its footprint from just over 44,000 units in 2018 to 73,428 units last year, representing an annual growth rate of 30 percent. Beyond those firms on our list, a full 80 percent of respondents for our comprehensive property management ranking reported growth for the past two years.

Methodology

The Fastest-Growing Multifamily Property Management Companies of 2021 ranking utilized self-reported data for all firms.
